In the Heart of Another Country explores the notion of home as a sense of longing and belonging by artists from different diaspora groups. The exhibition is dedicated to the question of how physical movement - mobility across national borders - shaped the framework of international contemporary art. On their migration routes, the artists crossed South and West Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Most of them now live scattered around the world, far from the places they originally felt they belonged to.
