In 2004, Lille became the European Capital of Culture. This extraordinary event had a lasting impact on the city, the region and its cultural dynamism. Since 2006, lille3000 has continued the work begun in 2004 with its major thematic editions. After Bombaysers de Lille (2006), Europe XXL (2009), Fantastic (2012), Renaissance (2015) and Eldorado (2019), Utopia, the 6th thematic edition of lille3000, will be held from May 14th to October 2nd 2022 in the European Metropolis of Lille, the Eurometropolis and the Hauts-de-France Region.
This programme will immerse the public in a future marked by a new relationship between life and nature. As in previous editions, Utopia will involve the inhabitants through an opening party, exhibitions, urban metamorphoses, shows, new events and conferences..
