Marino's favorites. Chapter I is an exhibition that features 40 works by important modern and contemporary artists from the private collection of the entrepreneur and philanthropist Marino Golinelli and his wife Paola, on display from 2 February to 2 June 2024 at the Arts and Sciences Center of Bologna.
The Golinelli Foundation thus pays homage to its founder by offering the public the opportunity to see paintings, installations and photographs by internationally renowned artists up close . The works on display reflect the multifaceted personality and multifaceted scientific and cultural curiosity of Marino Golinelli. His tireless passion for art, conceived as a privileged tool for knowing and deciphering reality, his gaze always turned to the future , pushed him to acquire, over thirty years together with his wife Paola, works in every corner of the world, from Africa to Asia, passing through the great capitals of contemporary art. By adopting a multidisciplinary and multicultural approach, Golinelli has created a corpus of works capable of combining a glocal , global and local vision of the world.
