The exhibition shows newly created photographs by Candida Höfer of the Semperoper Dresden. Each one imagines a specific context of the artist's practice: creation process, organization and technology of production, cultural and scientific historical backgrounds, anthropological and geographical references. At the same time, Höfer's 14 works can be understood as a project that enters into dialogue with the Kupferstich-Kabinett's collection. The artist's contemporary works and the works from the collection's history are linked by the art of inviting people into spaces as pictures as experimental arrangements.
