At the invitation of the Department of Seine-Maritime, and as part of the Normandy Impressionist 2024 festival, the artist Laurent Grasso is taking over the entire Jumièges abbey to transform it into a metaphysical labyrinth. Designed as an immersive experience and plunging visitors into a captivating and mysterious atmosphere, the proposal disseminates sculptures oscillating between archaism and futurism throughout the romantic ruins.
The artist thus generates an ecosystem in which the site, the remains and the works resonate with the perceptions of the visitor, leading the latter on a temporal journey where past and future become concomitant.
