Sean Kelly Gallery is pleased to announce that Laurent Grasso will participate in the group exhibition Memories of the Future, which opens at the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul on August 26, 2010. Leeum, Samsung Museum Senior Curator Hyesoo Woo organized Memories of the Future and wrote an essay in the forthcoming exhibition catalogue.

Memories of the Future, which addresses how contemporary artistic practice explores philosophical and physical realms that were previously believed to be impossible, takes its name from a Laurent Grasso neon installation that is prominently featured in the exhibition. Grasso's Memories of the Future will be installed on the exterior wall of the Museum 2 building. Designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, Museum 2 serves as the main exhibition space for modern and contemporary art. The exhibition aims to engage deeply with Museum 2's space, encouraging viewers to experience and understand contemporary art in a more intimate way.

Memories of the Future will include works by international artists Sophie Calle, Dirk Fleischmann, Michael Lin, Tsang Kin-Wah, Gimhongsok, Osang Gwon, Jackson Hong, Sun K. Kwak, Sasa[44] and Meekyoung Shin. For more information, please visit: leeum.samsungfoundation.org.
